Martha Takata
Audiologist
Martha Takata inherited a hearing loss from her father that began to show up in middle age. When she finally went to get hearing aids, she became so interested in the subject that she decided to go back to school to become an audiologist. Now, ten years after earning her Doctor of Audiology degree from the university of Minnesota, she still gets a charge out of turning the sound back on for others.

Nancy grew up in Upstate New York where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She was introduced to the field when her little cousin was born with hearing loss. She went on to earn her Doctor of Audiology degree at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona.
